Dr. Guy W. Mattana

Dr. Mattana is originally from Detroit, Michigan and has lived in the Chicagoland area for the past 25 years. He obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from Wayne State University in Detroit. He earned his D.P.M. degree in 1983 at the William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, graduating summa cum laude. Dr. Mattana completed his specialty training at the University of Chicago Medical Center, which included an intensive three-year surgical residency.

He participates in podiatric residency training through various teaching hospitals and serves on the Council of Podiatric Medical Education as a reviewer for surgical training programs.

He is actively involved as a speaker on the management of foot and ankle disorders to both the medical community and the general public.

Dr. Mattana is on several hospital staffs, including Good Samaritan Hospital, Lutheran General Hospital, Northwest Community Hospital, Holy Family Medical Center, Condell Medical Center and Lake Forest Hospital. He is also an active member at several ambulatory surgical centers throughout the suburbs.

Dr. Mattana takes great pride in offering his patients the most advanced diagnostic and treatment options available. Effective communication is a very important part of his overall care.
